Classes with Tina
Let's Tie Dye!
Get out of your house and brighten your wardrobe with a tie dye workshop for you, your family, your friend group, work group, or a party!
Group classes cost $100 in person and you must pre-register.
Individual class prices vary; start at $200 for 3+ hours of instruction.
I also teach at John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC, Blue Ridge Mountain Arts Association, art camps, quilt guilds, birthday parties, and more. I’d love to teach at your event! Email me for more information.
Intro to Shibori
Learn the ancient Japanese art of Shibori. This 4 hour class introduces you to the beautiful binding technique that produces amazing fabric art. We will be dyeing with a synthetic Indigo for this class.
Open Studio
Have a group of friends and want to dye? Contact me to schedule an open studio! Basic tie dyeing knowledge needed. No instruction given for open studio.
Dyeing to Quilt
You provide 6-10 yards of fabric, I provide all dye, dye supplies, and a meal. This is not a quilting class but a fabric dyeing class. We can schedule this class during the week. This is a one-on-one class. Lunch is provided.
Wine & Dye Duds & Suds
The full class is $100 for this 3 hour evening class. You get to dye 3-5 items (Tshirts, socks, underwear) that you provide. I provide the dye, dye supplies, snacks, and wine (or beer.)
The quick class is $25-45 depending upon what you dye and snacks/drinks are not provided (you are welcome to bring a snack and/or drink!).
No bath towels or sheets. Extra charge for hoodies and sweatshirts.
Basic Tie Dye Individual Class
$300 for this 6+ hour class.
You provide 7-10 items to dye and I provide all dye and dye supplies. I also provide a meal with this class (gluten free and vegetarian available).
We can schedule this class on most Wednesdays, Fridays, and some Saturdays. I can do up to two people if you want to share this with a friend (additional cost for second meal and additional dye.)
No bath towels. Extra charge for sheets and hoodies.

How it works:
- You order a pair of Dickies Overalls and have them shipped to me (Amazon has a huge selection
- Choose your favorite tie dye style and color palette
- I hand-dye your overalls and ship them back to you!
Pricing:
- $65 for standard designs, More for extensive patterns or ice dye
- Shipping not included $ US orders only
Turnaround Time:
Approximately 2-3 weeks once I’ve received your overalls and we’ve finalized your design.
Please Note: Each tie dye is handmade and one-of-a-kind. You pick your style and colors, but no two will ever be identical. Photos are examples only – your overalls will be truly unique!
